Simple and Sweet Manicure Inspired by Jonochi/More Born Pretty Store Water Decals

Hey everyone! Sorry again for the absence, I took my last trip of the summer before I move out to New Jersey for good. It's a bittersweet feeling.

I have been wanting to recreate Jonochi's Simple and Sweet manicure for as long as I can remember. I never got around to doing it because I couldn't find a sticker that remotely resembled the look of the one used by Jonochi. When these water decals from Born Pretty Store arrived, I knew I could finally give the manicure a go!
The base is a thousand coats of Butter London Cream Tea. And by a thousand, I mean like 5 or 6. I lost track at some point. The formula was good and build able, but I'd prefer an off white with a bit more opacity (how has such a shade not been invented yet?!) I then added one of these water decals to the accent nail. One that was dry, I added two coats of OPI Text Me-Text You. Sadly, I wasn't able to capture the the yellow and holographic sparkle of the polish nearly as well as Jonochi did, but I love the manicure all the same.

As usual, the water decals applied flawlessly. If you're interested in order some of your own, you can use my coupon code below to get 10% off your entire order at Born Pretty Store!
