A Quilted Gradient for International Nail Art Day!

Hey everyone! I recently learned that August 3rd is International Polish Day, and I decided to try out a new nail art technique for the occasion. Here's my first attempt at a quilted gradient accent nail.
This is two coats of Dance Legend New Messiah, a linear holographic gold shade. I created the quilt pattern using striping tape. Once the striping tape was in place, I added a gradient over New Messiah using Designer Nail Accents Glittering Grapefruit. To finish off the design, I used a small dotting tool and A England Sleeping Palace to create small dots at the intersections. I'm really happy with the way this turned out!

Thanks for reading!

  1. I really love how that looks! I really enjoy how it changes how the holo changes the look of the quilt depending on if it's in sun or shade :)

  2. Gorgeous! It's very subtle but I love the way it turned out.
